About
Love And Dishwasher Tablets. The sublime and the mundane of everyday life. The unspeakable too often spoken about and the underappreciated too often forgotten. It all comes from three couldn’t-be-more-different friends and years of passion and commitment, as journalists, radio broadcasters, djs or simply avid followers, to music, cinema, photography.
One night, and one glass of red wine too many, we talked about a place to share our thoughts, connect with likeminded people, give back what we get. And hey presto, we invented The Weblog. Sobered up, the idea has stayed nonetheless and here’s the result. Like its pin(-up) girl, LDWT is sitting on the edge of an immense pool, dipping its toes with curiosity and excitement.
We’ll listen to new music, we’ll admire the visual talent of photographers, painters, videomakers which cross music paths so stunningly these days, we’ll queue at cinemas for that midnight screening of some unheard-of filmmaker. And then we’ll return here to do what we’ve always done. Talk about it. Never forgetting to fill that glass of wine once more.
Beppe Recchia is our chief Music editor. Raised up on a steady diet of post-punk and disco music, he remains perpetually puzzled if forced to choose between Cabaret Voltaire and Chic. He once perfected the Morrissey’s quiff but age and hair loss have brought him back to his senses.

Vincenzo Pietrogiovanni is our chief Cinema and videos editor. He has spent most of his life wishing to be like Marcello Mastroianni in “La Notte”, but admits that his mirror reflection is more Napoleon Dynamite. The only french speaking member of LDWT, he is clearly ready for the Cannes festival jury.

Valeria Giampietro is our chief Art editor. If ever Sissydude was asked to rethink The Dukes of Hazzard for a younger generation (hey, we’ve seen stranger things happening), she would have to be Daisy. And by the way, don’t be fooled by her sweet appearance: touch her professional camera lenses or even her Polaroid and you’re dead.
This website is also complemented with a Facebook and a Twitter page (links to your right). On the first, we’ll constantly update news and reports not only by LDWT so to give a fuller spectrum on what’s on and available. On the second, we’ll just gossip about each other. Or maybe not.
